Intense ruby-red colour from organic grapes harvested by hand from low yielding Primitivo vines.
Made by using the Appassimento method made famous by Amarone della Valpolicella. The grapes are partially dried prior to pressing to concentrate the flavour and allow the finished wine to be both powerful and smooth.
The oak ageing adds a pleasant roasted and spicy aroma. On the palate, it is full-bodied, supple and well-balanced and with a long finish.
